All of my babes know I like to take fashion risks with my clothes, my accessories, and even my makeup. Adding an extra pop of color or unexpected shimmer to my normal makeup routine can take any look to the next level. And thank goodness for Urban Decay because man do they know how to make a statement! I am currently obsessing over the Urban Decay Distortion Eyeshadow Palette. With 12 different shades, I am able to create bold and beautiful looks that can keep up with my wardrobe!
First things first: primer. Before I apply my eye makeup, I always start with the UD Primer Potion. While the velvety shadows are already long-lasting, this magic potion (LITERALLY) keeps my lids looking fresh and flawless 12 hours after I applied. It’s one of my best-kept beauty secrets. Oh and did I mention they have an anti-aging version?? You’re welcome ;).
Now to the fun stuff. I’m a firm believer in look good feel good. And no matter where I go, if I throw a little eyeshadow on from the Urban Decay Distortion Eyeshadow Palette I instantly feel fabulous. While there is such a wide range of colors, the gorgeous duotone shades are so easy to blend and the pigment is perfection. You can mix and match the different shades to customize your look so I can go as subtle or glam as I want! My current go-to is putting a swoop of the blue shadow in my crease and blending it out with the shimmer white to create an eye-popping winter look.
After I’ve applied my primer and eye shadow, I use the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil to amplify the look. And it actually stays on my waterline (they’re not kidding when they say 24/7). I like to save this pencil for edgier day time looks or sexy night soirees – it really makes your eyes pop.
To finish, I gloss on my favorite UD Vice Lipstick (you can never go wrong with a matte pink) lined with the 24/7 Lip Pencil on my pout, and I’m ready to conquer. The pink lips paired with the cool shimmer shadow makes me feel like a snow princess. I lock it in with my All Nighter Setting Spray, and my beautiful look is complete!
