Del Frisco’s Date Night De-Light

Between our kids’ crazy schedules and work obligations, we often neglect quality time with our partners. Which is why my husband and I make it a point to have dates as often as possible! Our current favorite is Gold Coast’s Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House. We recently attended one of the swanky eatery’s Wednesday Night De-Light events and fell in love. The event took happy hour to another level with $8 specialty cocktails and 50% off the bar menu. Someone was even lucky enough to take home a pair of Prada sunglasses as a door prize!

But with date night comes date night fashion stress. When you’re an on-the-go mom like myself, you have very limited time to primp and polish. So luckily I have come up with a go-to look for all of your summer rendezvous’.

White jeans are a summer go-to and perfect for chillier nights. With 70’s fashions back in style, I opted for these Joy Flare Jeans. You can wear these during the day with a casual tee and sandals, and easily transition the look to nighttime with heels and a blouse. Shoulders are really baring it all this summer with the ‘naked shoulder’ trend and proving just how sexy décolletage can be. This light blue MGSM One-Shouldered Ruffle Top is so feminine and romantically sexy.

Any nude heel or wedge would pair nicely with this look. A small block-heel is great for a more casual feel, while a strappy stiletto takes this outfit to the nines. I wore Christian Louboutin Alarc Spike Crisscross Sandals to match Del Frisco’s posh atmosphere. To finish it off, I chose the Chloé Hudson Mini Fringe Bag, a pair of Lana Jewelry Gold Hoop Earrings, and oversized Retro Fendi Sunglasses. Since we were doing happy hour, I accessorized this look with understated pieces to contrast from the rest of the outfit!
